Your guide / driver will take you right to the top of this spectacular mountain about 20 kilometers/14 miles out of Bandung. No long climbs needed...hop out of the car and you can peer into the simmering main crater at a safe distance. |

On the way to the mountain, horse drawn transport is popular in the plateau town of Lembang. Nothing goes to waste, the horse has a special “collection bag” attached at the rear….recycling at it’s most practical! |

As your car ascends the mountains these colourful fruit and vegetable stalls come in to view. The produce is very fresh as it is all grown here…..strawberries too, and on the other side of the Volcano there are Tea plantations. Take some of the tastiest Tea in the world back home with you. |

How about a refreshing soak in real Volcanic Hot Springs? The Sari-Ater Resort including a luxury hotel has a private thermal pool...it’s all just over the mountain and an easy drive from Bandung. |
