LTM is pleased to present the first new studio album in 13 years by cult band Blurt, the unclassifiable punk-jazz trio led by Ted Milton.
Formed in Gloucestershire in 1979, Blurt originally worked with Factory Records before resigning to work freelance, going on to release a string of acclaimed albums including Blurt, In Berlin, Bullets For You, Poppycock, Smoke Time and Pagan Strings. Among their best known tracks are the oft-compiled singles My Mother Was A Friend Of An Enemy Of The People and The Fish Needs A Bike.
Still as unique and frenetic as ever, Blurt in 2010 comprise sax blowing frontman Ted Milton along with longstay guitarist Steve Eagles and new drummer David Aylward. Cut It! was recorded with co-producer Sam Britton, and features ten brand new tracks, including the limited edition 7" single Cut It! issued last year.
