Bobbie Eakes Biography...

With some help from her friends and family, including her ex-husband Thorne, she managed to stop drinking. She became involved with her ex-husband again when the two started singing together. They were big recording stars until Macy discovered she had a tumor on her vocal cords. Fortunately, the tumor could be removed and Macy recovered.
