My Current FS9 Flightsim Setup

Flight simulation using one PC and one Monitor is already a lot of fun.
Expanding this to a kind of virtual cockpit with multiple monitors and networked PC's will tremendous increase the 'level of reality'. To approach this virtual cockpit I use (from mid 2008) the hardware and software as described below.

Hardware

FSpanels-PC with ASUS Maximus Extreme mobo / Intel Core 2 duo E8500 3.16 GHz/ 2 GB Ram / 3x 8800GT 512 MB PCIe / 3 x 17'', 1 x 18'', 1 x 15'' and 1 x 19 '' LCD for the Main Instrument panel (PFD/ND/Engines/MCP), Overhead panel and Pedestal (FMC/Throttle/Radios)
FSview1-PC with A8N-SLI Deluxe mobo / AMD 64 3500+ / 1024 MB RAM / XFX Nvidia GeForce 6800GT 256 MB (PCI-E) / 2 x 19 '' CRT monitor
FsView2-PC and FSview3-PC are the same as FSview1-PC with the only difference that only one 19'' CRT monitor is connected to FSview2-PC

Software

On the PC's the following software is available:
Basic
- W XP pro
- FS 2004
Commercial aircraft add-ons
- PSS A320 pro and A330/340 pro Dash8-Q300, CRJ 2004, ERJ 145 PIC
