With the upgraded graphical engine in FSX the scenery looks so much better that my main use for FSX is VFR flying with rather small aircraft, especially low and slow through the Alps Valleys. In the schematic diagram is shown which hardware and software is used and how the hardware components are interconnected. The main items are that FSX runs on 1 PC with 5 monitors, 3 for outside view and 2 for panels. On a separate notebook a number of FS supporting programs are installed, connected to FSX using WideFS |
