Multiple monitors

Advantages
From the moment multiple monitor possibilities came available I have only been using PC's with more then one monitor. My experience is that doubling or even better tripling your desktop gives a tremendous increase in flexibility and productivity, especially while using many applications or more complex software where you need to open a number of windows at the same time. Examples are Internet browsing and mailing or chatting or adding Powerpoint pictures to a Word document or programming in Visual Basic or equivalent. The big advantage is that it is much easier to keep an overview on what you are doing.

Wallpapers
A multi-monitor setup gives also additional room for special wallpapers, for example two or three related pictures or one panorama view filling up all monitors. Some of my favourites are shown below.
To download a 3072x768 version, right-click on the picture and select 'Save target as . . .'
