Ode to Joy
Dit is het laatste deel uit de 9e symfonie van Ludwig van Beethoven
en is sinds 1972 het officiële volkslied van de Europese Unie.
Dit volkslied komt niet in de plaats van de volksliederen van de lidstaten.
De tekst, geschreven door Friedrich Schiller, wordt bij officiële
gelegenheden niet gezongen en daarom niet ingesloten.
This is the final movement from the 9th symphone by Ludwig von
Beethoven and since 1972 the official anthem of the European Union.
This anthem will not replace the national anthems of the individual member
states. The text, written by Friedrich Schiller, is not sang at official events
and therefor not included
