X-Country Soaring
My name is Karel Termaat. Since 1994 my son Ronald and I have been sharing a
glider. Just recently we have purchased a Ventus-2cxT. The glider is an update of
the well known Ventus-2cT. The outer wing sections have been modified and
winglets are applied. Some aerodynamic changes have also been made to the tail
section. Again the call sign of our new glider is XT.
Ronald is a
serious competition pilot, a.o. in European and World Championships. I have
become a more recreational pilot and like to make long cross-country flights.
The 18m configuration is perfect for that and with the 25hp Turbo on board the
V2cxT is a great pleasure to fly. In fact we do not have the 15m option.
