This has been requested so many times in the last few months I thought
I may as well be the one to tab it out.

It's kind of surprising to me that people can't work it out for themselves.
My rule of thumb is : if you can whistle it, you should be able to play
it on guitar. I hope most people from the states *can* whistle it - it's
a fairly simple tune - so maybe they're just a bit lazy and havn't bothered 
spending 5 minutes finding the notes on the guitar.

Anyway, here it is.


Please note the following :

I do not live in the USA. I was born in England, now living
in Cardiff, Wales. However I think I know the SSB well enough to try
tabbing it. If I missed out 'that crucial middle 8' then forgive me -
I think it's pretty accurate though.

This is not the way Jimi (Hendrix) played it.
What I've tabbed is the basic tune. What he did was to liven it up,
use a lot of hammer-ons, bends, trills etc not to mention machine gun
noises, feedback and teeth.  You'll have to work out for yourself
the way he played it. 

If included a few slides ( / = slide ) because I think it sounds 
smoother that way. Anyway, the tune is very simple - it's what
you do with it in terms of bends, slides and 'extra bits' that makes
it more interesting.
