With reference to a letter of the 1^st. ultimo from D^r. W Loney, Deputy Inspector General, of H.M. Naval Hospital at Hong-Kong, requesting that he be allowed to change his election from "Former" to "New" Regulations for Full Pay and Retirement, I am commanded by my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to acquaint you that they are pleased to sanction this officers change of election provided that

Referring to their Lordships' letter of the 31 January 1874 to Vice Admiral Sir Charles Shadwell, C Duplicate, N^o. 43, in reply to a letter from me of the 1 December 1873, I beg to say that I accept the new regulations for Full, Half-pay, and Retirement as their Lordship's [sic] are pleased to sanction.
