In 1997 the Beach Plaza Hotel became a member of the Le Meridien group, so they changed their name.
From that day on the "Le Meridien Beach Plaza" used these unsigned and unnumbered illy bar cups for their hotel in Monte Carlo.
The cups, with the inscription "illy espresso", can still be found there now, but before that the hotel used the signed and numbered 1996 illy collection cups!
