On the 7th of october 2002, illy celebrated 10 years of illy collection at the Louise Bourgeois (born 1911 in Paris) exhibition, at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
On behalf of this very special occasion illy released a special edition cup designed by Louise Bourgeois. The cup came in
a special package and about 2000 cups were given away that evening. 
The other 1000 pieces
could be bought through the illy internet site.Later that year another Louise Bourgeois set was released. However, this "Le jour la nuit le jour" set is marked illy collection 2003!
