| Charlotte Beunders is a Dutch artist from Amsterdam, who's work is inspired by objects related to biology. In some of her modern art you may recognize a set of microscopic slides and in other pieces you recognize a beatle depending on your frame of reference. In recent years she became particularly inspired by Chitons, the members of the molluscan class of Polyplacophora. |

| Although Charlotte is an avid collector of sea shells who impresses many with her eye for detail, her main interest is art. Many companies and private collectors from the Netherlands and abroad already acquired pieces of her exciting art, not realizing what the source of her inspiration really is. However, for conchologists it is perfectly clear what the objects in her paintings are about. |
