1841 Census

Brief Description of the Census Data for 1841

The 1841 census on the night of 6 June was the first time that a census was done where individuals were listed. For adults the age was rounded to the nearest 5 years and the place of birth was given only by county. The reference number for the collection of microfilms, or at least that cover the county of Cornwall, is RG/11.
