Then in 1729 Francis Moar, my direct ancestor, is married in the parish, and in 1734 Richard Moar is also married. Neither of them appear to have been born in the parish and both have their surname spelt differently to the established family in the parish. So it is probable, but not certain, that they were sister and brother and that they moved into the parish at a later time to the previos generation.
It is possible that they were totally unconnected to the previous generation, and also possible that they were related, either as children to Nathaniel who were born in another parish, or that they were related in another manner.
From the information available on the on-line IGI, the only candidate marriage is a long way from Cornwall - on 9 Dec 1673 at Allhallows London Wall when Sara's name was given as Lodge. However, the IGI is far from complete so there may well be other occassions when a Nathaniel Moor married a Sarah.

The main outcome of the research to date is that eliminates the possibility that the baptism of Francis Moor on 23 Nov 1718 as a son was actually a baptism of Francis Moar as a girl. This means it is most likely that she was born in another parish.
