Brief Description

Mary Honor Trevan was the second child and eldest daughter of John William Trevan and Cazandra Elizabeth nee Hayens. She was born on 25 Jan 1858 and baptised at Charles Church, Plymouth on 14 Feb 1858, along with her elder brother John William Stoneman Trevan. At the time the family lived at 6 Looe Street, Plymouth. At the time of the 1881 census she was a milliner. She married William Henry Lethbridge during the following year in the Plymouth registration district.

All that is known about the Lethbridges after their marriage was provided to me by Chris Trevan, their great-nephew.

They lived at 4 Clennon Gardens, Paignton, S. Devon.

Olive and Elsie Lethbridge visited their uncle Jim Crosscombe and his wife Mary in Canada some time between 1949 and 1953, and family photos at Niagara Falls survive.
