Nellie Radford / Bradshaw nee Ellen Edith Trevan (1870-)
From information provided by Joyce Banks she married Edward John Radford in 1894 in Birkenhead and had 3 children. From information from Keith Trevan, she married Mr Bradshaw and had a daughter Dorothy. Of course, it is possible that she had both families, but I have not investigated either of them for myself.
Bessie Maud Trevan married John James Hughes in 1898 in Birkenhead. They had 4 children, not necessarily in the following order
- Doris Hughes
- Florence Hughes

No wills have been searched for this branch of the family.
In 1987 I contacted Joyce Banks, the youngest granddaughter of Sampson (1844-1929), who provided much of this information.
Other grandsons, Bill Trevan (Sydney, Australia) and his brother Keith Trevan (Melborne, Australia) reckon that their grandmother's name was Maude Hickman and that she was from Devon. According to their father Maude's father had a livery stables in Devon, and his father (their grandfather) was in the Royal Navy and transferred from Devon to Liverpool and the family lived in Birkenhead. This page was substantially updated in 2000 based upon the information written by Keith Trevan in 1989 which Bill copied for me in Dec 1999.
