Alphabetical index

Brief Description

William was the 7th child of the family and youngest known son. He was born on 3 Nov 1743 and baptised at St Germans on 20 Nov 1743. He moved to Stoke Damerel, presumably following in his brother Matthew's footsteps. After having some children in Stoke Damerel he moved to St Budeaux, the parish where his sister Ann Stephens was living. Son William Jinks Trevan was baptised in Stoke Damerel and was buried in St Budeaux. Following the death of his first wife Elizabeth he married by licence to Martha Marrs of Ugborough. The marriage allegation shows that he was an Innkeeper. He was declared bankrupt in 1781 and died in 1782.
