Mother: Anne Bake (-1719)
Married: 29 Apr 1684 at Landrake to Sampson Trevehen son of Reginold of St Teath
Children:
Later came a reference to him as Samuel Trevean whose reputedly illegitimate daughter Alice Trevan baptised at St Teath on 8 Jan 1682, daughter of Joane Webb. She was buried there the following day.
He appears to have left the parish following this incident and moved to Landrake, in South East Cornwall, where he was known as Sampson Trevehen, son of Reginald of St Teath. Here he married Anne Bake and baptised their eldest child some 7 1/2 months later. His wife was the daughter of John Bake, a yeoman. Their eldest child was baptised as Philip, daughter opf Sampson and Anne, but buried as Philippa.
He stayed in the parish until his death in 1710. In 1715 their was an Elizabeth Trevehen baptised as daughter of Sampson, but he cannot be the father. It is more probable that this was a misrecording of his son Reginold who had had his first child Sampson baptised in 1712.
