Brief Description of the Family
Mary's daughter Ann was baptised at Blisland as Ann Trevaynes bastard of Mary Trevaynes 5th Feb 1815. Ann's reputed father was John Bilkney of Roche. At the baptism of her son Benjamin John on 15 Apr 1822, his reputed father was given as Arthur Rich.
At the time of the 1851 census she was recorded as Mary H Trevains, but since I took this information from a transcript, I need to check the original to see if the middle initial could be an A. Her age was given as 62, indicating a year of birth of c1788/9.
She was buried in Blisland on 16 Mar 1858, age 66, indicating a year of birth of c1791/2. Her address was recorded in the parish register as Tregenna, the same as for her granddaughter Amelia's burial in the following year.
It is almost certain that she is John and Sarah's youngest daughter, Mary Ann, who was baptised in Blisland on 15 Dec 1793.
