One of the most persistant rumors over recent months has had Van Halen playing the 80.000 seat
FedEx Field in Landover, MD on July 4. This latest rumor about a show at RFK Stadium obviously
contradicts the previous one, but strengthens the speculation that Van Halen are planning a full-on
stadium assault if the alleged reunion with David Lee Roth
goes ahead. The silence is still deafening from the Van Halen camp.

There will also be a nostalgia act on the stadium trail. E! has learned that Van Halen has booked 10
outdoor dates for a summer reunion tour with David Lee Roth.

Still nothing officially to report. It's almost 5 months now since it was announced that Gary Cherone had left
Van Halen. The only official statement from the Van Halen camp has been, "no news is good news." David Lee Roth's
official web site has been silent since December 10. If the current reunion rumors are true, April 1, 2000
would be the coolest day to officially announce it.

David Lee Roth reuniting with Van Halen rumors just
won't die down. The latest talk centers around who's going to land the management gig for the almighty
Van Halen. Big F.D.'s Doug Goldstein, who handles Guns 'n Roses and the Chris Perez Band, among others, is
one heavy-hitter who's name is being tossed around. There's apparently a lot of money on the table for a
summer reunion tour with David Lee Roth, some say even as high as $170 million. But, of course, at this
point, no one will comment.
