Spade of hardwood found in totally wet conditions in the Prins Bernard Pol-
der site.Such conditions preserved this pre-Columbian wooden tool up to our
times. Probably raised fields and mounds were made with such tools in pre-
history. The length of this broken artefact is ca. 70 cm.
