Carla 22



Carla 22 (Tops x Bill) was our first excellent cow. We bought her as a heifer. A lot of farmers didn't understand why we bought this cow. They found her to long, to skinny, to high and so on. We thought she could become a good cow. Within one year we found out we're right. She became champion at a holsteinsshow for calves and heifers. After that first championship a lot of prizes would follow. In September 1991 she became excellent with 91 points. One of her best achievement was to win the championship for older cows at the HOZUBRA at Utrecht in 1993. Together with Libella 4 we went with her to that show and both became champion. Carla 22 was even the oldest cow of the show.


100000 kg milk

In april 1998 she had her latest achievement, she produced more than 100000 kg milk in her lifetime. Is was a great moment for a great cow. Even now, at 13 years of age, she still looks great. Because of that, her age and her production, she became a 2-star cow in August 1998.
