All turbines turning (a rare situation, which lasted for half an hour)
(19 oktober 2008. At the table-site the dike of "Noordoostpolder" was closed in 1937)
Repowering of the site is underway for some years now. It is expected that by 2011-2013
the farm of the 50 Windmasters will be replaced by three rows of ~ 17 turbines each
(total of ~ 350 MW). Two rows will stand in the water and one row along the dike.
